    Wow madtownidiot that is stuff
That's the Biggest n Meanest Machine i have seen thus far

    Congrats on the build
Unfortunately, I can't take credit for the build. It's a HP z800 workstation. The only work I did myself was add memory to it, resize the RAID parrtition, and reinstall the OS. I don't know enough about that kind of hardware to build one myself. The good thing is when you pay $19,000 for a system from HP, you don't get any bloatware or any grief about an operating system disk, and it doesn't overheat because it comes from the factory with liquid cooling.

Depending on your software load, you can get by with a much smaller SSD.

I've got a 40GB SSD with 19GB used. Just keep all of your data, pics, vids, files and folders on the spinners.
    No problem, works great.
I have been doing this, at least in a different partition, with my HDDs for about 15 years. Can't figure out why everybody doesn't do this, makes re-imaging or re-installing the OS very easy.

No need to buy a big SSD for data storage, not yet anyway. When the prices really drop, say 500GB for $100 then maybe.

You can get a very nice 40-50GB SSD for $100 or less.

Okay, here we go. I got 2x Crucial C300 64GB in RAID 0. I also got 2x OCZ Agility 2 as well. I will try to get them install as well. I need to get me more SATA cable.

I still have to mess around with RAM and GTX 460 some more later.

Hope it up to your standard all these wife still don't know yet LoL.... Thanks God for Direct Deposit

That should be higher, have you changed any settings?
I think I figured it out by watching the CPU load while WEI does it's thing, never hits 100% max maybe 85%, I suspect WEI doesn't trigger turbo mode.

To test that theory I turned off turbo and set the CPU to run full at turbo speed, sure enough score went to 7.8.

I can move on now, grim when the SSD @ 7.7 is the slowest thing in the system

Well, I think this is it. 10 hrs stable without pumping more V_CORE in and water cooling.

Got the 1019T up to 4.2GHz but got some error here and there after an hour. So I went back to 4HGz.

And I think this is all I can get out of the middle of the shelf ADATA 1600. Forgot to take the screenshot of the "before" but I think it was around 14000MB/s or 7.6 WEI.

I cannot for the life of me get the GTX 460 to go up any higher.

I guess I better stop and start loading some applications in

Dual channel memory being set up slaps my old WEI in the face with a .4 gain:
