I just upgraded to SSD and it screams. I am waiting to get my GTX 470 soon as soon as the cash comes in.

My first system where the lowest components are processor and memory... *Heavy sigh for it being a laptop lol*

You just said a mouthful. I'm certain I could have put Windows 7 on my old PC and have had it work great. But I didn't get a new PC to get Windows 7, I wanted a new PC, and Windows 7 seemed a no brainer. Not had any reason to doubt that yet.
