    To get a 6.2 I got a RAID10 with 4 1TB Hard Drives

Have you considered a SSD instead. An OCZ or Crucial C300 would easily get you to 7.6 or higher.

This 1 is deffinately a RAID trick with 2 1TB Hard Drives to get over the 5.9 threshold.

Ooh nice. Almost a perfect 7.9 rig.
7.9 was the plan. But my cooling can't handle a higher overclock. So ...
Thanks, I was just wondering if I could break the 5.9 threshold with 2 of these in RAID. Seagate Momentus XT 500GB SSD Hybrid Internal Hard Drive - Jigsaw Systems Ltd

Raid or no Raid will probably not make a big difference because the access time is not going to change. For R/W and capacity it will help though. Will it go over 6 - matter of trying.

This HDD learns what files you use a lot and saves this files on de SSD part of the HDD. Files you don't use often are saved on the disk itself.

A good comparison between HDD - Hybrid - SSD is YouTube - Seagate Momentus XT Hybrid Drive Speed Test (NCIX TechTips #73)

If you have the money buy an SSD bootdrive else a hybrid drive is a good replacement.

Here's mine that I did recently after a fresh install a couple weeks back. Was quite surprised to see a drive score that high with a Green!
7.4 Drive score with 3 spinners. You have to share the RAID config on that.
Oh I see there is an unmentioned 60GB SSD!
Actually, there is no SSD in this system. The 60gb is a partition at the beginning of the 1.5TB Green. Like I said, quite surprised to see a score that high.

    It’s overclocked from stock 3.07 to 3.52GHz. (i7-950)

My i7-930 was overclocked from stock 2.80 to 3.52 and only got a WEI score of 7.5 - Show Us Your WEI

7.4 sounds about right for stock though.

I use this editor mainly for video tutorials that I capture from my screen where I show a lot of text pages. And those always get blurred with other editors. So the extra effort is worth it.
What sort of tutorials? My New core came today and I failed to get it working, Unsure if it's a faulty core or i'm just missing something simple. I really hoped to have it installed by now.
Just thought I would explain: My motherboard ASRock A770DE+ stated that it was Phenom X6 ready. In truth it should have said Phenom X6 capable. The BIOS version was V1.20, updating to V1.70 made my PC see the core and boot straight away. It seems BIOS updates before a core upgrade are common, but it was the absolute last thing tried because I believed it was Phenom X6 ready.

WEI is a weird thing. My i5 750 with only a BCLK change from 133MHz to 160MHz, with all turbo and EIST enabled gets a 7.4. A Guy
