Nice scores, really high screen resolution too, you must be hardly able to read text on the 23" monitor at those resolutions?

Actually, it's not too bad for most things and the zoom works for the rest.

I have poor eyesight which is why I posted the comment, I have Microsoft Lazer Mouse 5000 with Intellipoint which puts Magnify.exe at just a button click. I would be totally lost without it on higher resolutions.

Welcome to Seven Forums Ar73m1x. 1st of all WEI scores are just an indication of actual performance, so don't sweat them :). 2nd, the whole system will determine individual scores as well. For you, I'd think it's your HDD. If you had a good SSD, and perhaps double the ram, it might just give you a 7.8 (which others are getting apparently). I'm sure your new system has great performance, so don't worry, but a SSD may be in your future

Seems to be standard for stock settings on the i7 2600.

I know this won't help but, the K version allows OC'ing and you can easily raise the score.

I just built a new rig with Intel i7 2600K processor, Intel 510 SSD drive, ASUS Sabertooth P67 mobo & 16 GB ram.
