Show Us Your WEI (2)

The XMP sets the RAM to it's recommeded settings, should be the timings and voltage that is printed on the package or sticks themselves.

It won't change anything else.

Here's some info on DDR3 and XPM

Intel Corporation officially introduced the eXtreme Memory Profile (XMP) Specification on March 23, 2007 to enable enthusiast performance extensions to the traditional JEDEC SPDspecifications for DDR3 SDRAM.

Finally got Windows 7 on the Vertex 2 SSD - Now the WEI shines :):):)



Tried the Samsung SSD first but it was slower (WEI only 7.3) - now is been demoted to a Fast storage drive. Guess I'm not getting this WEI any higher without adding a second Video Card. And that would only get it up to 7.8

Very nice scores, have you OC'ed your Video Card?

No Overclocking yet - stock right now ....... But I hear ATI has a utility to let to OC the Video Card a bit hmmmmm........ might be interesting

I wouldn't use ATI Overdrive, doesn't work very well.

MSI Afterburner is a good program for OC'ing, works on any card.

My first run with new SSD no settings yet sorted very promising for my goal of 7.4. now for the tweaks

Have a small issue . my cpu score was 7.9 now dropped as you can see any ideas
I built the whole system on a very tight budget for a bet with my mate

I guess my score is the lowest among every1on this forum......these scores looks horrible wen compared 2 you guyzzz score......but still putting it up...
