finishing touches on my x58 rig:

yes I know, its screaming for a ssd right now

running tests on my other systems right now

Hp Compaq 6910P business notebook with the optional X2300 graphics card, its gutless for gaming but works really really well for all else, the keyboard is amazing on it, I upgraded it to 4gb of ram and added a seagate momentus 500gb hybrid drive to it yet it still gets 5.9 in wei

    What SSD is that?

The manufacturer specs are, well, not always accurate.
The controller is very important, and the controller firmware more so.

A transfer rate of 300MB/sec generally indicate a SATA 6 Gpbs range.

Access time is also an important factor.
It's the manufacturers claim for the performance on the pureSilicon Nitro 1 TB SSD.
Ah! so it is the fast 6GB/s 1...See I couldn't even work that out.
Thread here....1 TB SSD: You Know You Want It
    Was comparing with this...OCZ 240GB Onyx 2 SATA II SSD; MLC; 0.1 ms; 2.5 "; 240: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics
It seemed a little slow compared to this 1.

Finally side by sided my 2 displays to give the ATI Eyefinity a try (looks really odd on a 42" and 32") But performs well, Really considering getting a pair of 26" HD Monitors with fast response times.

Ability, My recommendation is go with Intel X25 M or OCZ Vertex2. With either of those it will not be the HD holding you back.

Agree with essenbe, any size of Intel X25 M or OCZ Vertex2 SSD will give you much better performance (and WEI score).

The performance increase is truley amazing, best upgrade I've done.

Why i get so bad score for HDDs?

That's normal for a traditional spinning HDD.....to go much higher, you need a solid-state drive (SSD).
