To DELETE or NOT??? That is the ?

I was using this Cleanup tool and it found over 3GB of material alone in C:ProgramData\avg9\....................[dumps] . I am not using AVG Antivirus anymore, I am using Avira. It said it is SAFE to remove all of these DUMPS.....BUT is it??? I cannot find in my Programs - any evidence of AVG being on my OS. I searched "avg9" and it came back as a CTF type folder, whatever that is.
It was taking quite a while for all of these dimps to be removed so I chickened out and stopped it and restored them util I hopefully can find out more about what they are and if this is truly SAFE?

You apparently did not uninstall AVG correctly. Those are some AVG reminents and there are probably more. Use this AVG Removal tool to finish the job.

Geez, another reason AVG is garbage.

Do what WHS suggested first, then yes, delete the AVG garbage.

That is not specific to AVG. For most AV programs you need a specialized uninstaller. A while ago I had posted all the uninstallers that Fred Vries had compiled: AV Uninstallers

Not so much referring to the uninstall as much as 3G of Dump Files.
Unless this is a quarantine, that's a little crazy.

WHS: THANKS for quick TIP - I used it BUT found all of those dumps were still left on my system. BUT after
posting here it appears that it is SAFE to let my Cleanup Program DELETE them ALL......

I think you are right. Those files are safe to delete.
