Go to power options, change plan settings, advanced settings. From there, go to sleep and type in 2 for how long you want.

So you don't have it set to log out after a period of time (screensaver), but want it to sleep after you are logged out, but NOT if you are logged in?
Let me look around.

I would really appreciate if you would help me resolve this Lordbob75, complicated to explain exactly why I need it but it's just a simple thing after all, making it go to sleep. | My System Specs | | OS Windows 7, OS X CPU E8400 Motherboard Asus P5Q PRO Memory 4GB Corsair Graphics Card GTX 260 Sound Card Realtek ALC1200 Monitor(s) Displays HP vs19b PSU 500W Hard Drives a 600 GB western and 2 seagates |

It cant. The power plan settings are per user, and so cant load till after you log on. IE if there were 2 users and one wanted 2 mins like you and one wanted 5, it couldnt do it. so after you log in it knows which is which

It is an easy thing to set up the computer to sleep at a certain interval. However, the OS is not set up to go to sleep after it has gone into lock.
You can try setting the computer to go to sleep 2 minutes after it goes to screen saver with log in required?
