Windows 7: Windows 7 home premium sleep problems

hi everyone got a query about a sleep problem, it activates itself when it feels like it 4 times today i have checked my settings and my ups settings and everything seems ok i checked the event logs and found the system was put to sleep my the user (me). but i have not set it to do that i always do it manually o has anyone found the same happening??

I'm sure you've checked your power settings already, but to have an automate sleep beyond your own will? when you checked back your power settings,does it resets back to default?

Brink posted a nice tutorial on the Vista forum. I have not checked to what extend it applies to Windows 7, but I would think that it is similar.

hi,
what i have done is gone through every setting i can find to do with power & sleep on the machine and the ups and made sure i redone the settings i choose and rebooted, and so far so good the pc has been running ok for 6 hours. The screen saver kicks in OK if idle for 20 mins. (my choice of setting).
