The only truly safe registry cleaner is one's self. But if you don't have the confidence to tackle it yourself, then be prepared for unwelcome ramifications from slightly annoying to possibly much worse.

The best thing is always to learn how things work yourself and then take control. Use an old pc to test things out if possible.

It's so much more rewarding when you know how things function and to be able to take action one's self. Mostly preventative too.
