Setting up Temp Files on another drive

Is there a tutorial about setting up temp files on another drive other than using my SSD drive (C) I have 2 other drive options would prefer to use my Western Digital 2TB as this is only for storage, the 1 TB Seagate has my Win XP Pro on it.

Did post this elsewhere but I think this is the right place now :) Sorry for double posting

it's a bit of a trip to find the settings, but here goes: :)

control panel >> system and security >> system >> advanced system settings >> environment labels, edit paths in top two boxes

i'm not quite sure what the difference is between TEMP and TMP, though.

you'll probably also want to change your browser's file cache too.

Or...just use Junctions and redirect any directory to another drive.
