    Sleep or Hibernate

Hello , I check forums but I didn't find solution for me so I'm gonna ask.
I have windows 7 installed on laptop which has good performance.

I want to put him to sleep or hibernate so he can cool himself a bit , but without closing my network applications such as one game and one sharing program.

I tried any way but I'm connected to network with usb wireless adapter to my modem , or I can connect with usb cable to him.

Any way I try my connection goes off.
If there is any possible way of saving some power or cooling him off a little while using some network applications I would be happy to know about it.

    Thanks.

    Welcome to SF!

I don't think so, unfortunately. You can have it turn off the display, that will help a little.
