10,000 RPM SATA might too. 15,000 if they make em. Last thing I personally had that went that fast was a SCSI drive.
i dont think sata has a 15k drive

but i dont believe 1 ssd can achieve that performance since as you saw in some drives drive or partition size can affect the score too as you can see in some scores....

    but 2 10k or 2 ssd's in raid 0 can automatically get 7.9 guaranteed

I tried what Steve said and dropping my resolution and putting my video cards in SLI made no difference in my scores whatsoever.

I am still miffed that it thinks my gaming bench is a friggin 6.0 - I have a pair of the second most powerful cards nVidia makes, fer cryin out loud!

It's not a beast, per se, but it *does* hold its own when a newer game is thrown at it....
I thought *you* are the one with the beast....

mobile IGP beast yes very true...

this was the one of the only tablets with a great igp and didnt break my piggy bank (or whats left it...lol) which was a plus...lol
it could hold up on its own against any IGP desktop or laptop...
i have the benchmarks between the x4500 and the hd 3200 and the 3200 obliterates it
so im very happy with my purchase
