    Windows 7 cleaners/wipers.

Is BC wipe any good or is there any other ones which can match it?

Is it better to clean/wipe manually or automatically?

There are two schools of thought. I subscribe to the dont use any reg cleaner, and sparing use others. I dont recommend their use.

I like to use a nice wipe program to delete files with 7 to 37 passes so they can not be recovered etc.

I also do not recommend usage of registry cleaner in Windows 7. Only if the system turns extremely slow can it be given a try once. Otherwise better to abstain from it. I have had my registry messed up once in the past by a registry cleaner and would not recommend its regular usage.

If you are going to use one make a system restore point, first. In addition back up your registry.
