Check disk problems

I am having issues with my comp rebooting alot. That is being handled in another forum but I am trying to run check disk and my comp reboots durring the long process. Is there a software or some way to run check disk on all my other hard drives (not C:\) in bootup?

Hello Roth, and welcome to Seven Forums.

Yes, you can open a command prompt at boot, then use the chkdsk C: /f command. Just substitute C: for the drive letter that you want to run chkdsk on instead.

Hope this helps,
Shawn

Thank you so much. I am just hoping that my comp rebooting or BSODing during the previous check disk attempts has not done permanent damage.

You're most welcome.

At worst, you would just need to format and do a clean reinstall.
