    Intel I7 930 Performance. WOW

I have over-clocked it to 4Ghz with turbo OFF, HT ON and C-State On.

I have several applications running, 1 game, google chrome, and downloading several software and gees, the thing doesn't even lag one compared to my old system!

I am extremely happy with my purchase.

I would recommend one of these any day!

Yes, all seems to be fine now.

4Ghz unfortunately @ 1.296v (Its a little volt monster and hitting 4.2Ghz just meaned more volts =more heat Its not worth it for 200Mhz), I'm idling at about 45*C and when on 100% load i'm at 75*C, peaks low 80*C's sometimes. I really do have a bad cooling set up at the min, just 2 80mm crappy fans blowing air in from the front and 2x 120MM on the rad for the heatsink sucking cool air onto the rad. Side of the case is off to help with the coolness. The weather in the UK atm is so humid, its been around 29/30*C today.

New case should arrive Monday along with 4 more new 120mm fans . Although i would had really like 4.2Ghz, It gets too hot, but beggers can't be chooser and happy i can even over clock past 3.6Ghz as some people can't.

I'll reply to your post in just a moment.

    Thanks

I'm running my CPU at 3.52GHz and I happy with that. Mytemps are 45 idle, 72 load. This is with my room temps at 80F/26C.

I'm good with that given the situation. I'll probably get a new case later; probably this one - HAF X - Cooler Master

Nzxt beta Evo is the case I have ordered, perhaps half the cost of yours but looks near enough the same. Are you happy with your processor performance?
Are you happy at that speed? The case you want is very simular to the one I ordered,

Though they look "near" enough the same... they're different cases :)

That's a good looking case, and massive airflow. Should be a great platform for a build. A Guy

    A refined 932 - you can't really go wrong.

If I were looking for a new case (and not in the Lian Li range) I'd go for the HAF X myself.
