    Disable aero effect


    How to disable aero effect/themes?

    simple.

    Theme - Change or Save

    right-click desktop >> personalize

    choose windows basic from near the bottom of the list.

    Hi

    Right Click your Desktop > Select Personalize > Select Windows 7 Basic Theme ( located under Basic and High Contrast Themes)

    if you just want to turn off the transparency effects, try reading this tutorial.

    having aero enabled actually increases the computers performance, as it takes work away from the cpu and gives it to the graphics card instead.

    oh...very simple. thanks for all.....can we use seven in pc with 512MB of RAM?

    yes - but more is better.

    also, if you have a spare usb thumb drive (at least 1 gb recommended) around, you can take advantage of 7's 'readyboost' feature.
