I'm running a Toshiba A200 with T7200 (Duo at 2.00GHz) with a GeForce Go 7300 graphics card and 2GB of RAM. After getting the motherboard replaced twice (due to overheating) while still under warranty my laptop was able to play 720p videos and handle flash games/Youtube no problem. I don't know what happened, but suddenly everything was getting ridiculously hot and once again I was stuck dealing with overheating. My graphics card reached temps of 55C while my processors lowest temp was 75C and constantly reaching up to the high 90s. I brought it back and they kept saying nothing wrong (which was ridiculous). Finally the thermal grease was replaced which solved the graphics card issue, but my ACPI and processors are still overheating constantly. I can't even play certain games or watch certain youtube videos, let alone a full movie.
I opened my laptop up in order to check for dust (and blew into it a million times), but there is no blockage. I'm not sure if this is a hardware issue or a problem with the drivers, but if anyone has experienced something similar please share what you did to solve it.
