What was the worst OS you have ever used?

For it was Windows ME. To me that was Windows 98 with a few added features.

Worst in what way? Usability, performance, support, available apps? Not sure which OS was worst. I never actually used ME, somehow skipped right over that one.

The OS I was most disappointed in was Mac OS X. The Mac people built that up to be such a fantastic OS, when I tried it I thought it was an OK OS, nothing fantastic about it.

I have a neighbor who is still running ME and swears it is the best. I never used it - but I love Vista. That is the ultimate Geek OS.

ME, 98 & 95 (They were all based on the same Windows 9X kernal). I have no problem with any Windows version that uses the more stable NT kernal, which includes 2K, XP, Vista & 7.

i would say 3.1 which i never really used tryed it a couple times it was like blah and me i never touched cause most of the time i hear people cursing the damn program

other then that 95,98,xp,vista,win 7 have been alright i t hink best of all with the least amount of bsod was xp and 7 thats just my opinion xp ran fast and smart vista was kinda a headache at first but worked out the kinks :cool:

Very bland, Windows can do whatever the could do. Also lack of customization options - the Mac I used once had only two window colours available - TWO!
Also very boring - what would we be like if there were no tech forums like this if computers never crashed? It takes all the excitement away from using any OS at all!

ME. It's sad that after you install all its updates, IE refuses to run anymore. A testament to what a piece of crap it really is.
