Hiya!

Recently, i attempted to customize my notification bar with some nicer icons. I replaced the icons for the sound, network, battery and action center. For about a day, the action center had different graphics, but the rest stayed the same, and now all of them have disappeared!

Im running win7HomePremium x64

the .dll s in question are C:\Windows\system32
ActionCenter.dll
SndVolSSO.dll
batmeter.dll
puidui.dll

If someone ould help me get them back, even with the standard icons, that would be great :D

did nothing at all :/
i've gone into the preferences and all the system icons that i mentioned are greyed out. Is it possible that the .dll's are corrupted? and if so, is it possible to replace them with working versions?

Also if your running 64bit system you have two of each of the files you mentioned. One in System32. One in SysWOW64. You need to change them both! Otherwise windows has a "dithery moment" and can't make up its mind and chooses neither!
Sometimes they are the same file, more often than not they are slightly different so they need modifying individually.
