can't access uni wireless nortel netdirect/tunnel guard

hey

i used to be able to use the wireless internet at uni in windows vista (with uac off due to antivirus check)

the config goes you can access the wireless connection, but there is a home page that checks if you have an antivirus installed and creates a tunnel guard thingo that other programs automatically go through.

this worked fine in vista.

after upgrading to windows 7, i reduce uac to the lowest setting possible.
in internet explorer, it passes the antivirus check, but the net direct software does not load. in firefox it loads but it gets stuck on the security check...like the acceptance of secure connection/ssl certificate, you click yes and it keeps poppin up no more how many times you click yes.

sooo please help =). btw i use the windows firewall and avast antivirus. i had vista firewall control installed before but i kept getting this error, so i clicked 'enable all' in it...still didn't work so i uninstalled it.

edit: i think it's 'nortel VPN Tunnel Guard' / netdirect ssl

Maybe it is just a bug in that build, you could try updating to one of the newer builds, the best one for you would probably be 7260, builds after that wont activate with the RC keys.
