Windows 7 (32 and 64) hang during install

Hello All, first before i start here is my hardware...

Issue
My problem is this, I have been running a very stable build of Windows 7 x64 for about a year now and I decided to update my MOBO and purchase an SSD to be my new OS drive.

I've booted the DVD (2 copies) and formated both my SAMSUNG and my KINGSTON drive's and created my PRIMARY partition on the SSD. I have tried installing it 4 different times with 2 seperate disk and each time it finishes "Expanding Files" the "Installing Features" finishes instantly (a second passes and the checkbox appears next to it) and when it comes to "Installing Updates" It completly freezes, as in, mouse doesn't respond, hdd activity light goes off, dvd drive activity light goes off as soon as it hits "Installing Updates"...

I have a feeling it has something to do with the SSD but I have no idea as I haven't used one before...

Do you guys have any clue what may be causing this issue? My friend suggested I update my bios and try loading the SSD driver seperate but It doesn't make any sesnse as windows is recognizing the drive, formating it and expanding the files on it... just can't finish the actuall instalation, thanks for any assistence.

Here'a place to start sorting things out

If the Windows 7 install disk is one you burned yourself it may be a bad burn, or it got damaged some-how and needs to be done again, if so this would be the first thing to try.

Use the free ISO burner at the link below to burn another at a speed of now more than 4x and select to let the program to verify the disk before it finishes.

If that doesn't solve it and there's nothing on the Hard Disk Drive (SSD / HDD) that you want to save, have a look at this tutorial at the link below, it over-writes every sector (all the previous Windows code) on the HDD with zeroes and that makes the best possible space to install Windows to.

I belive what I will do is rip the DVD and try installing it from the USB, I really doubt its a bad disk but that will help eliminate that being the possible problem. Thank you for your help, any other suggestions are welcome as well I will check the thread throughout the day, again, I really apprichiate all your help....
