Is it an error or is it intentional in Windows Live Mail that message replies and the window for new messages have no bottom border?

Very observant of you! You're right, I don't see any bottom border on any emails, received, sent, new, or replies. Acutally, there is a bottom border for those windows that need horizontal scrolling but it's not truely functional since there is no way to grab the bottom edge and pull it up to resize the window. Fot that reason, I'd say it's a mistake and will hopefully be corrected in the next (wave 4) version.

Thanks, Roncerr. That was the first thing I noticed when I first used Windows Live Mail. Very odd-looking. If it is a mistake, should it be reported to Microsoft as such? How would I or someone else do that?

And is there a target date for the wave 4 release?

There is a "send feedback" link under the "?" menu at the top of the main screen in WLM. The wave 4 beta has been in public beta since June but I haven't tried it yet.

Paul Thurrott's SuperSite for Windows: Windows Live Essentials 2011 :
"The company expects to ship the new version of Windows Live Essentials, the internally named "wave 4" release, by the end of 2010, well over a year and a half after the wave 3 release."

This problem appears to have been fixed in WLM 2011.

The problem is back again with the latest Windows updates. Anyone else have the same issue?

Problem solved--again. I updated to the latest build.
