having trouble

I am having trouble with my computer. I have checked all I can think of but it doesnot want to allow me to register free software and even paid for software. I also uninstalled programs but it will not allow me to reinstall saying it has not been uninstalled. Thanks in advance

First do you have a backup from before the problem existed?

Second if not, do you have a win 7 dvd to do a repair install?

Failing both of those do you have restore disks to reset the computer to factory specs?

I tried to go retore to another day but windows would only let me go back a couple of days. I do have abackup drive D: and I have no DVD but the info is on my computer.
