How do I get Registry permissions?

Using Win 7 Pro x64. Even though I am listed as an Owner in all of the Registry keys, I do not have permissions in all of those same keys. I have Admin rights. This is causing problems installing software. Most recently, I can't install Ghost 15. The install almost completes and then I get this error: (see attached pix). I don't even have access to view that key in the Registry.

I thought about using SETACL, but the command is a bit over my head. I have all rights in the Components key (HKEY-Local_MACHINE\Software\Classes\Install\Components\...) but the rights are not trickling down to all the keys within Components.

Does anyone know a command to get Registry permissions in all of the Components subkeys?

I would only use Ghost if someone held a gun to my head.

If you right click on the key, doesn't it show a permissions item?

Suggest you contact Norton. Windows compatibility site lists product as compatible but not with a Win 7 Logo.

Right click on the install .exe and select Run as administrator.

Even then, I'd have to believe that they would really pull the trigger...
