Computer restarts on install of anything

Big Problems!

My computer started randomly restarting itself and i didnt know what the problem was, i tried a variety of things and nothing worked so i decided to reinstall windows.

once i did that the problem was still there.

Everytime i try to install any program my computer just restarts itself, this includes windows update which i had to turn off just to use the computer.
It also works fine in safe mode.

any help would be fantastic!

i tried to install a program on a clean boot and it still restarted

But its ok in safe mode
Its a driver
Go to search
Type device manager
Look for any yellow warning markers
Make sure drivers are up to date

Revisiting this as it is happening again! I ended up taking my computer for repair after the occurrence, I'm not sure what he ended up doing or what parts he replaced, but I'm pretty sure he mentioned it was the hard drive.

Can anyone please help?
