Hp dv6 usb device and base system driver unknown

im new 2dis forum.
i hav a hp dv6 laptop wid following config:
amd turion X2 processor
4gb ram
windows 7 ultimate 64bit os.

for 3days i get error messages telling that my base system drivers,std enhanced pci to host usb host controllers n my usb hubs are unknown devices..
cos of it none of my usb ports are working.
also my laptop has become very slow n gets stuck..are these two related?

please help........

bt the fact is my lan driver 2 is gone...cos of dt i cnt access d internet 2 update d drivers
