Hello:
My laptop (Win 7 Home Premium) and desktop (Win 7 Ultimate) are on the same Homegroup, and I mapped a folder (Users–[My name]–Documents) from the laptop on the desktop.
First I want to say that I could only map folders under "Users" on the laptop, but no other folders on the C drive.
When I tried to drag a zip file or doc file from my desktop to the mapped folder on the laptop, I got this error message:
An error occurred copying 'xxx.zip'. Access is denied. (5)
When I click on laptop Control Panel – Homegroup, and get to "Change homegroup settings", I have all "Share libraries and printers" checked.
It also says "This computer belongs to a homegroup." And there is also
"Leave the homegroup...", which shows that the laptop is connected to the homegroup.
What am I overlooking? Thanks!
Hans L
