Would like to use own stationary in Outlook

Hi there, I came across one of your old threads and felt I was on the road to eureka to solve my problem. However I only got so far and wondered if anyone would be able to give me some more help please.


I am trying to use my own stationary in Outlook 2007. I have opened Outlook under properties as the administrator as suggested in the thread but am still blocked from saving the file. I have copied and pasted the file to the correct location but then it seems to just sit there and I am not able to access it from Outlook. When I do copy and paste it says you'll need to provide permission to save the file, so i go continue but then it never asks me for a password? I am logged in as the Administrator. I would appreciate any help, thanks in advance.

Can you try this?

Turn UAC off (this is only temporary), reboot the PC, then follow your steps as you posted. If that works, then turn UAC back to the previous level, and reboot your PC.

I have seen instances where UAC prevents you from modifying some Microsoft applications using Add-Ons unless you turn it off temporarily until the modification has been performed.
