When playing high-spec games, every time I play, the game will at some point, usually sooner rather than later, crash. The nature of the crash is not one I have encountered before - the monitor suddenly loses its signal and resultantly goes on standby, while the tower crashes and requires a forced restart to reboot. The above, according to windows 7, is the problem's description. It has been absolutely driving me mad trying to find a solution to this problem as my knowledge is quite basic. I assumed it was a driver issue. Any help anyone can provide would be very much appreciated. My system specs are as follows:
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate x64
Processor: AMD Phenom(tm) 8650 Triple-Core Processor
Memory (RAM): 4.00 GB
Graphics: ATI Radeon HD 4800 series (Microsoft Corporation WDDM 1.1)
Gaming Graphics: 2303 MB Total available graphics memory
Primary Hard Disk 298 GB Total
My Graphics Card driver version is 8.741.0.0 and I have DirectX 10
As I said before, any help anyone can give me would be greatly appreciated.
Many Thanks.
