Hibernate used to work fine on my machine, but a few days ago my computer suddenly stopped being able to hibernate.
When I try to hibernate, the screen goes black and nothing happens. If I move the mouse using my laptop's touchpad, the computer returns to the login screen as if I enabled the screensaver instead of hibernating.

What else can I try to fix the hibernation issue? I haven't changed any BIOS settings in the last couple of weeks as far as I can recall.
