Windows 7 64bit build 7100 RC1 runs flawlessly on my PC. Will I be able to update to the final release, or will I have to do a clean installation? Thanks for your help, IM

No one knows but M$. You always should do a clean install. I know its a pain. I have done 8 in win 7 so I dont like them either. But they do provide a clean base for microsoft and clear up a lot of problems. I think some smart person will figure out how to do the upgrade, but you will still need a real serial number for sure.

Good luck

Even if Microsoft make it available to upgrade from the RC to RTM which i don't think they will, i would recommend against it. Clean Install is the way to go if you want to be free of errors.
