I have this graphic card that i have bought 2 weeks ago when i had xp installed now i installed windows 7 i need drivers i have my best looking for them and now i need help from you guys (you all ROCK :p). so can you please help me get drivers for my Visiontek ATI Radeon HD 2400 Pro AGP card.;)
i also dont get my graphic card information here

You can go here and get the Windows 7 Preview Driver for your card. HD 2000 series is listed.

Sorry, I don't know what to suggest besides uninstalling it and reinstalling. Maybe turn off any AV when reinstalling it.

Hi PratikPatel - (1) You might want to got to the AMD/ATI site and download the Vista Drivers and the Windows 7 drivers, in seperate folders so You can install and uninstall w/o being confused - Once You are in front of the box - Video problems can be nasty -- but You can doit :-)). (2) Uninstall the Video driver You have now. (3) Select the Microsoft VGA driver and install it even if You have to do it in the Safe mode. (4) When You have the Microsoft VGA driver installed, and You get back to the desktop -- Install the Vista drivers, if everything is good then You re-evaluate the next step. (5) If it is not good then You try the Windows 7 drivers. If that isn't good then install Microsoft (I think it is call WDDM driver). (6) If none of that works then Wow maybe the Hardware itself is bad????

ya i tried and i know its not a hardware problem cause in xp i just pop the cd in and download the driver and it works like magic and i tried all you all have said so plz think harder and help me i would be most honored thanks

Pratik - You might try e-mailing AMD/ATI Tech Support. If It works in Vista (I don't recall if You said that) it should - work in Windows 7. Alot of things should do alot of things though. That is an interesting problem?!? What does it do when it fails? Can You use the change the driver option, browse to the directory where You know the correct driver & force it to load the correct driver. Wow I don't think I have ever seen this with a AMD/ATI driver. I guess there is always a first time. God's Speed to You -- Patrick C

it works with vista drivers it also shows up its name in device manager and it tells me to restart i did that and when i come back i get the error from before
and it stops working:cry:

Pratik - I went to ATI/AMD support and found that even though ATI/AMD might supply the drivers for the Visiontek ATI Radeon HD 2400 -- Visiontek has it's own site at http://www.visiontek.com/corporate/contact.html. Also I was able to copy the contact e-mail address's and contact phone numbers. If You go to the Website and then You can send them an email concerning your problem. The two types that closely resemble you Hardware were - (1)Radeon HD 2400 XT & (2) Radeon HD 2400 PRO.
