Left and right channels are mixed together

Hello I want extend cable on my CREATIVE HS-800 Fatal1ty Gaming Headset. I used many 3,5mm to 3,5mm M/F extended cables but all times the LEFT and RIGHT channels were mixed together. When I set Only left chanel it play 50% on left and 50% on right...etc. Without extended cable everything is OK. Where is a problem ? Which kind of cable I must use ? Which parameter of cable is important for me ?
