Hey,

I'm trying to install update KB976932 (Windows Service pack 1 for 64bit) and KB982526 (Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP1) but I keep getting error 800b100 which stops me from doing so.

I've tried deactivating my firewall; manually installing from the microsoft website; and using the system readiness tool but I keep getting the same error

I've attached log files and I believe some files are corrupt. How can I replace them?
Can anyone please help me out?

Thanks.

i have solved the problem,

Step 1 - open cmd run as administrator and type "net stop WuAuServ" (without the quotes) and hit enter. don't close cmd
Step 2 - Click the Start Button, in the "Start Search" box, type in "%windir%" (without the quotes) and press Enter.
Step 3 - In the opened folder, look for the folder named "SoftwareDistribution". Right-click on the folder, select Rename and type "SDold" (without the quotes) to rename this folder. ( It may take some time to rename) dont panic
Step 4 - Still in "Administrator: Command Prompt" window, type the command "net start WuAuServ" (without the quotes) in the opened window to restart the Windows Updates service.
Step 5 - Restart and check for update, win 7 sp1 will download and install automatically.
try it..............
Thanx

I suspect that there may be other problems which you haven't dealt with yet -

Please follow the Windows Update Posting Instructions and post the requested data
If the file is too large (8MB compressed), remove the older CBSPersist cab files until the final file is below the limit - you can always post them separately after zipping them. (the forum doesn't allow the upload of bare CAB files, for a number of reasons)
