Game Explorer Windows is unable to connect to the game updates server

How do I get the Game Explorer to check for updates again? I have no idea why it stopped working but that's all I get now.

I have a similar problem. When I first opened Games explorer, it adds all of my games, but then for some reason it's no longer updating the boxart. Worked Ok before I installed SP1.

If you want update to run again, you'll need to go into the registry and alter the following:

HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-21-1421879715-3726164220-3270374013-1000_Classes\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\GameUX

FirstManualScan change the value to 0 and enter game explorer and it should work.

Basically 1 is on 0 is off

Also go into game explorer/options and make sure everything is checked.
