I miss my X very much

Before I switched to Win 7 my X was always there for me .... but now....It's gone :(

Ok.... I'm talking about the red X that was always up top of every XP window in the tool bar.
Is there a way to get it back in Win7 Ultimate?

Thanks D.

I've been using Win7 since the beginning and didn't notice the missing delete button.
I always use the keyboard.

Hello Diana,

Yes, there sure is. :)

You can use the tutorial below to add a Delete button on the toolbar of all Windows Explorer windows.OR

You can use OPTION TWO in the tutorial below to add a Delete button on the toolbar in one or more specific Windows Explorer window(s).Hope this helps,
Shawn
Thanks Brink..... I've been at this since win 95 but I always get a bit nervous when working in the Registry... Plus I couldn't get full permission to change the Hive key entry. Call me overly cautious but I think I'll make a full Acronis image before I fat finger my registry.
I'm pretty sure I can do it but..... better safe than sorry.

I'll be sure to let you know how I make out with it.
Thanks again
D.

Not yet....This install is about a week old and I still have a few more programs to install and some tweaks to make before I make another full image.

Then I can be as reckless as I want! :p
