Wallpapers on Dual Monitor Setups.

I am having trouble getting difffernent wallpapers configured on my dual monitor setup with W7B1. Is this a known issue or is there something I am doing wrong? I am running an ATI 4870x2.

Yeah, Jon, the dev, is working hard - before Build 6956 every part of that software worked on W7, but 6956 broke the secondary taskbar feature - and it remains broken in 7000.

Jon assures me after the current round of Betas go final he's getting back to working on the W7 secondary taskbar support.

*plus, you can do multiple wall papers for free, Flickr! images for free, never have to pay a dime to use it - I bought it cause I wanted to beta test lol.

Sleep - the board has a neat parsing code where if you paste a link it will automagically parse the page title of that link (provided it exists) and make that page title a link - like this

I was using UltraMon 3.0.3 but it is not working in 7 at the moment. 3.0.5 is out but I don't think it has support for 7 yet either.

I am getting the pro version of this app for now. It may even end up being better in the end.

After installing DisplayFusion I can no longer minimize a full screen window in my secondary display. Clicking the minimize-button minimizes the window to the taskbar and snaps it immediately back open. No problems minimizing the same window when it is not in full screen mode, or minimizing a full screen window in the main display.

A feature or a bug?

I am currently using the latest pro version and I did not have that issue. Try changing some settings around.

Also a Pro-version. Tried every setting. I still like DisplayFusion, it´s just a bit annoying to be forced to use two clicks instead of one to minimize (I have to click first the restore button to put window to a non-full screen mode and then minimize).

I noticed it doing this also but it rarely happens for me at the moment.

Try minimizing the window by clicking the taskbar icon for it instead.

having 2 different backgrounds is easy to do, no matter what version of windows you are using, even with different monitors that have different maximum resolutions.

basically what displayfusion is doing... takes 2 images and makes one new image and tiles it.

example

you have 2 monitors

your main monitor is directly in front of you
your secondary is on the left

the image for the left monitor should be place to the right of the one of your main monitor, then save and set it in the display manager to tile, dual wallpapers done without a tool. just photoshop or even the windows paint will do fine.

my set up is 2 different monitors, the max resolution for my main monitor is 1280x1024, my secondary is 1024x768.

if you have a set up like this, then just add the width together and use the height of the main monitor for the image height.

1280+1024=2304

so make your image 2304x1280 and set your images in the correct position save and tile.
