Windows Media Player 12 wont load

Now i know there are a couple hundred posts about this subject on different sites too. But not one has had the same issue im having. So I try to open up WMP 12 and it doesnt even show that it loads, i then try to open a movie it flashes real quick and closes. I'm fairly sure that it started when i just did an upgrade to ultimate, but not 100% positive as i dont normally use WMP. So looking on sites and posts ive tried the usual, uninstall reinstall, deleteing library, even found one about mcafee likes to block it and tried messing around with that, but the issue ive seem to come across is it works on "my account" which is set up as an admin, but doesnt work on any standard user accounts, anyone else have this issue or know what to do? maybe its something with ultimate, but that doesnt seem likely. Any help is greatly appreciated.

and see if a setting can help from there
