Hi. I have Apacer 32GB SSD and I have 64 bit version of W7 installed on it. Peformence is nice and fast but for some reason Windows just freezes (1-2 times a day or so) because no SSD is present. I am able to open my computer before total freeze and no SSD is present! Then I just unplug the SSD SATA cable and plug it back in a voila! PC unfrozes and SSD is present. What seems to be the problem? I have motherboard about 1 year old and I did download/install all latest drivers. SSD has about 7GB of free space and gets pleny of cooling

Have you tried another cable or another port?

Do I understand this right - your Win7 loads correctly but after it is loaded the system freezes. Is that immediately or after a while.

Yes. I have tried different port and different cable but did not help.

No, the PC does not freeze immediately. My PC runs 24h a day and 1-2 times a day it freezes. Usually it freezes when I just surf online or watch movies. There allso has been boot failure (unce a week or so) because BIOS does not detect my SSD and again if I just remove the SATA cable for a moment and then plug it back in the BIOS shows my SSD and boots W7.

I did not had any problems like that with regular HDD and with the same hardware, alltough I had 32-bit W7 then.

Luckely there is been no freeze today so far :) But yesterday I had 1 and the day before I had 2
