Solved p170 hm Barebone 2nd reload.

Hi guys, I've got a huge problem. This is a brand new laptop I7 16GB ram Nvidia gtx 460m....

I loaded 64bit win7, now the caps-lock & scroll lock flashes at random times but not long after the system starts up. It has started while in bios & even safe mode,, Tried the primary RAM & also behind the keyboard.

Looked at beep codes but to no avail. Its using AMI bios.

After beeping continuesly with the two LED flashing with each sound the machine shuts down. I've read-up some stuff about discharging & trying without the power or trying without AC power but nothing works ey.

At first I thought its the nvidia driver I got of their site, because before I ran the assesment & it completed. Then it started with this flashing of the LED's I've counted the beeps at one stage adding up to 36 beeps intill shutdown. Some tries it even started beeping before the POST completed. I'm lost, & don't wanne send this nice baby back.

Please,any advise will be tried.

Try reseating the Ram & Hd.

I found the problem it seems it was the VGA fan, it is connected but wasn't turning I send the Laptop back as DOA. Thanks anyway.
