Solved Removed UNetbootin but it still asks me how I want to boot,help?

Thanks for taking the time to look at my issue :geek:


Recently, I used UNetbootin so I could install my OS from a thumb drive. I decided not to do it however but now each time I boot my pc it asks me to choose between UNetbootin or my Windows 7 OS. I have deleted any traces I can find of UNetbootin but it still gives me that boot screen, what can be done to stop this?

Install EasyBCD and remove the info for UNetbootin. That should fix the problem.

Thanks for this question! I have exactly the same issue! At each boot, it asks me to chose between windows 7 and Unetboot, despite I completeley deleted UNetbootin!

let us know if you need any help with the software. For me, deleting the UNetbootin was not enough, I also had to "tick" "skip the boot menu" in the "edit boot menu" tab located in EasyBCD

You may also go to msconfig (type in search), Boot tab, highlight UNetbootin, then Delete.

You're welcome Z. I had to figure that out after I had deleted a dual-boot OS, I was still being given the option even though only one OS existed.:)
