Hi to all,
Any recommendation on the best way to have dual monitoring.
Right now I have it like this;
The computer has hdmi dvi and vga port
One monitor (the one that got #1) has vga and hdmi port. It is a tv actually
This one is connected from the hdmi port to the dvi port on the computer.
The other monitor (he got #2) has only one vga port.
This one is connected from the vga port of course to the vga port on the computer.
But I have got a multi view adapter (USB 2.0) from HIS manufacturer.
So I figure I can have it either one way or the other easily.
But what is the best way????

If they both are connected one with HDMI and one with VGA and displaying so i think it's the best way.

The other monitor (he got #2) has only one vga port.
This one is connected from the vga port of course to the vga port on the computer.

It seems as if your choices are limited on the second monitor.

Digital connections (HDMI/DVI) provides better image quality.

For monitors not using sound, there is no image quality difference between DVI and HDMI.

Keep it the way you have it now.

Thanks Boogieboy, thanks Smarteyeball.
I did notice a difference in the display between the two monitors.
The one with hdmi has a brighter color than the one with only vga but I will have to keep it like this for a while.
It is a fun experience though.
Thanks again.

No worries mate.

VGA can sometimes appear a little 'washed out' when compared to DVI/HDMI. You can offset the difference a bit by adjusting the colours/brightness etc on one of your displays. Alternatively you can also use your cards control panel to set a displays colour.

The colour difference could also be due in part to using two different displays, each with their own panel type. Even with the same connection, the colours may always be different. You could come close to matching them, but never be exact.

I've two dVI outs, and only one will work. Only one monitor registers under device manager too. Can't use the HDMI out as there's not enough space for my adapter, and I can't use the eyefinity as I don't have a monitor capable of using it, nor the adapter.
