Can you take laptop screen apart?

Hi all,

I've got a Panasonic Toughbook CF-F8 and there is a bug in my screen! It has been wondering across around hapily for about a week or two but it got squashed when I went to try and brush it away this morning...I now have a dead bug in the middle of my screen.

I wondered if anyone knows how if it's possible to take the display apart and clean it?

possible but not easy and I'm not familiar with your model but it may require a set of torx drivers as well.

I have done it on several models. I find a guitar pick helpful for prying the case apart.

Try ifixit.com. They post step by step repair guides.

If the screen is broken I've had good luck on ebay finding new replacements. I've had better luck removing it and finding the manufacturers model number for the screen rather then the notebook model.
