I have pre-ordered windows 7 Home Premium.
My specs are as follows:
AMD Sempron 3000+ processor 1.80GHz
2GB RAM
GE FORCE FX 5500 256mb ATP Graphics Card
I have done the windows 7 upgrade advisor and it says I meet all the requirements.
I am curretnly running windows xp, and it is working good.
Will Windows 7 be slower than xp, if so by how much?
I don't want to get windows 7 and realise that it hogs cpu and ram memory.
Do you think my graphics card is too old? If so, any suggestion on a new compatiable one?
I have looked at
SAPPHIRE 100175L Radeon X1650PRO 512MB 128-bit GDDR2 AGP 4X/8X Video Card - Retailbut I'm not sure whether that will be fully supported by windows 7, etc.
I pre-ordered the home european version from Pc world for £45, so I won't make a big loss.
