Solved BSOD Sleep Mode

Hi, my computer crashes every time I try to put it in sleep mode or if i leave it unattended for a while. Been happening for about a week. Assistance greatly appreciated!

Is Windows 7 . . .
- x86 (32-bit) or x64 ? x64
- the original installed OS on the system? original installed
- an OEM or full retail version? oem
- OEM = came pre-installed on system
- Full Retail = you purchased it from retailer

- What is the age of system (hardware)? 8 months
- What is the age of OS installation (have you re-installed the OS?) 8 months, no re-install

The cause of the crash
stflt.sys
Is listed as a malware component.

Boot safe mode with networking
and install update and run a full scan with mbam
Malwarebytes : Malwarebytes Anti-Malware PRO removes malware including viruses, spyware, worms and trojans, plus it protects your computer

Make very sure you have this hotfix installed:
Hibernation does not work or memory dump file is not created after you install Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2 Service Pack 1
The report does mention you have no antivirus product, and Maguscreed is correct that stflt.sys is considered malware (Spyware Terminator, I believe).

p.s. are you using virtualization?

Thanks for responding! Ok Maguscreed I will do what you suggest. Cluberti, I have Spyware Terminator installed, you saying I shouldn't use it? I use Avast for antivirus. I don't know what virtualization is Maguscreed. Can you explain?

I am unfamiliar with spyware terminator.
It could very well be causing the problems for all I know.

My above instructions stand either way. Let me know what the result of that is.

Thanks, I removed it and followed instructions from you and cluberti and it's still happening. Any other suggestions? Should I attach a new zip file?

So far today it hasn't crashed so what I did seemed to work. I am going to give it a few more days and if all is well I will mark resolved.
