The Dialog Box of Printer Preferences is cropped

OS: Win7 32bit. The Dialog Box of the Printer Properties where several buttons are, is cropped both at the bottom and at the right sides. If I change the DPI to 200% then all the text is shown. This is the only dialog box where this anomaly is shown. It seems that the zooming [/I]of the whole menu is incorrect, so on two sides the text is not displayed. The printer is Epson Stylus DX 3800. Epson support could not help: it appears that is a Windows 7 problem. I tried several times to unistall and reinstall the oem driver, unsuccesfully. Any suggestion to fix it? Thank you.

Welcome to Seven Forums geomazo.
Have you tried removing and reinstalling the printer software? Also check on Epson for a newer driver.

Yes, I did try to uninstall and re-install the most updated driver from Epson web site. It did not change anything: the root of the incorrect display of the printing Preferences should be in Win7. This what Epson staff told me. Regards

Yes most all manufacturers deny anything they supply might be faulty, its in the scripts they have to read to customers.

How about your graphics driver, is it the newest one too? I will provide links for removal and reinstall tools if needed.

Another thing to check is that your monitor is set to its native resolution.

Please fill in your system Specs

The graphic driver is the most updated, I used Driver Sweeper to remove the old one. The driver of the display is updated too and set for its native resolution.
The graphic card is nVidia GeForce 8400 GS. I wonder if I may delete the DLL files of System 32 - the Epson ones only - and have them re-installed with the printer driver: this to try to remove an inappropriate configuration; Epson told me not to do that.

No definitely DO NOT start deleting .dll files, that could make your system unusable if you'd happen to delete a wrong one.
Try RevoUnistaller, link in my sig for it. It will give options for Safe uninstall, use that. It should delete the proper registry and dll files.

After weeks of attempts, yet I did not succeed in obtaining a complete display of the printer properties BOX where you can choose options of prints and other functions: the parts that are cropped are at the right side a at the bottom.
Again: the Epson driver is updated, same for OS (Win 7 / 32bit); un-installation of the drivers was done by Rev O Unistaller, that is suuuper effective, re-installation was done also downloading the oem driver using the system updating facilities. The resolution of the monitor is the native one.
I am stuck and frustrated. Any suggestion?
