Ok peeps need help with hiding recovery drive

Hi all
Right i need a little help here. I have installed 7 on my laptop that came installed with vista. As a result i now have a 1.5 gig partition called winre in my computer. But as my kids will be using this laptop i dont want them to interfere with this drive as i know it contains information for a restore. So really my questions are this
How can i hide this drive and
does anyone think that i can put the drivers ive downloaded for my laptop onto this partition along with the recovery files without damaging it, it has over 1 gig space free which would suit my driver storage perfect.

Im not sure but I have a couple of ideas. first if yoour kids are running as std users you might be able to take ownership as admin and modify std users right to not read, write, or modify. Do you want to hide it or prevent access to it? btw you can put the drivers on it

This is how it looks in Disk Management (start --> right click Computer --> Manage --> Disk Management)

Right click on the partition you want to hide and select Change Drive Letter and Paths... - then select the Remove button as shown below:

Warning you'll get about programs that might need the drive (safe to ignore since it is used by another OS)

Additional warning you *may* receive if W7 has been monitoring the drive for anything

Of course, it is also best if your kids are standard users only and have no access to things like the management console so they can add it back and / or format the partition....

Also, it helps if they don't have the ability to boot off the CD ROM or UFDs so they can load *nix and do the same thing....
