Solved Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool
Hello All,
I have noticed that when the Windows update is
done, it downloads the Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool.
However I can't find it. Can someone tell me where it is.
Thanks
RalphG.

Hi, RalphG.
Although the Malicious Software Removal Tool is good at the time of download, it uses the same definitions as the other MS scanners. Thus, even one day after it has been downloaded, it is out of date.
If you are using MSE as your antivirus software, you would do just as well checking for updates and scanning with MSE. However, if you use another vendor's product, I suggest the Microsoft Safety Scanner.

Thank You for the replies. I use a few antimalware/virus apps.
I just like to have a few different apps. for safety.
Thanks again.
