Solved need to add unallocated space to system drive

I would like to add the 10GB of unallocated space to the C drive but I think its on the wrong side of C. I tried Paragon without success and I looked at Partition Wizard and Eause. In this scenario is the general idea to shrink C small enough so there is enough room so it can then be moved in front of the unallocated space and then extend C to encompass the unallocated space?

thank you for helping the handicapped

Hello.

You can use the free Partition Wizard boot CD to Move/Resize the left side of the C: partition into that unallocated space, have a look at Step Three of this tutorial linked below for an outline.

Just ignore the first 2 steps.

As good and reliable a program as Partition Wizard is, I would not trust the installed version for the operation you need, use the boot CD as suggested and be sure to post back with any further questions you may have and to keep us informed.

First download the Partition Wizard Bootable Disk (PWBD) ISO file to the desktop, be sure to get the PWBD and not the installed version; scroll down to see the download link for the Bootable CD ISO file at this link below.
Then use ImgBurn to burn the ISO to a CD, at no greater than 4x speed with a verify; it was designed for use and works best from a CD rather than a DVD; then boot the created CD to make the changes, it doesn't take any input from the user to setup, just relax and let it load.

The simplest things become a death march. Get this - I burned the CD, boots to it fine, set up the job and... the computer just shuts down. It does it about 1:45 after the Partition Wizard splash screen. Let it boot to the OS and it doesnt blink, rock solid. Boot it to the CD and do nothing after choosing the screen resolution and it doesn't blink. Set up the job and go to confirm the job and....you guessed it, nuthin. I dont see how it could have anything to do with booting to the CD or starting to use PW, but that's what it does. Got a gun?

OK! Much better now. I only had 1 blank CD left and it wasnt in such good condition. Actually, it looked like the cutting board at a sushi place. I burned the ISO to a DVD and booted to it. Voilà, the whole operation took 20 seconds, there was very little data on it.

Lets hear it for Bare Foot Kid
